We are a homeschool support group for people in the counties of Putnam, Greene, Morgan, Jasper, Jones, Baldwin, Hancock and surrounding areas.

 

We offer support in a nurturing, non-judgmental atmosphere; play dates, friendship and solidarity through the homeschooling rollercoaster.

We are an in-person group. We meet once per week for play dates and one per month in the evening to discuss group business.

 

Our Policies:

 

· Parents have the right to homeschool their children and determine the methods, structure, and content of their home study program. Uncle Remus Homeschool Support Group will not reject any member based solely on their homeschool methods or program.

 

· All individuals, regardless of religious beliefs, race, national origin, educational methods, or homeschooling status, are welcome to join Uncle Remus Homeschool Support Group and participate in all activities and events.

 

· Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.

 

· Uncle Remus Homeschool Support Group is not a homeschool curriculum or school. We are a support group and can only offer opinions and emotional support.
